Changing Mindsets

There are a number of mindsets that have been proven to increase success. For example, researchers at Stanford have studied mindsets that lead to greater growth. Other researchers at Yale, Princeton, and Stanford have studied how people reframe stressful experiences as exciting challenges to get better. The “action mindset” builds upon this scientific research on mindsets. This is about how people develop a sense of agency and control – believing that they can do something to make a situation better, rather than complaining about it or being passive. Surprisingly, there is even evidence for helping people develop mindsets that increase their ability to have good luck.
