All people will experience moments of adversity, challenge, trouble, loss, and even failure. There’s an expression that “what does not kill you, makes you stronger.” Unfortunately, that’s not true for most people. The vast majority gets weaker when they face the problems and difficulties of life. 

Fortunately, there’s a growing body of scientific research about how people can get stronger during the storms of life. We can train people in this skill, seeing measurable growth and development.
